Features of Persian Handwoven Gabbeh

The Persian variant wool used in this product has excellent durability, necessary for survival in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and a soft, pleasant texture with a high fat content that helps regulate body temperature.
Gabbeh, made by nomads in Iran who carefully hand-weave each strand of this naturally dyed wool, are characterized by their fluffy and pleasant texture.
A tightly woven Gabbeh is said to last for 100 years, demonstrating its exceptional durability.
Born from a climate with extreme temperature differences between day and night, Gabbeh are warm in winter and airy in summer, preventing a feeling of heat.

Daily Care
Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom along the pile.
If it's stained: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water and gently wipe the surface with a well-wrung towel. Then wipe thoroughly with a damp cloth to remove any detergent and dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Notes
Due to being handwoven, there may be distortions in shape or pattern, weaving irregularities, or dyeing irregularities. Please consider these as part of the charm of a handwoven item.
Additionally, Gabbeh are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, a unique odor from the dye used to color the wool may be present.
This odor will gradually disappear with use, but please be aware of this in advance.
