This Gabbeh is woven with fine threads, and while it takes more effort to weave, it is a Luri-baft Gabbeh with less thickness and a tighter weave than regular Gabbeh.
"Luri" means "fine" and "baft" means "weave" in Persian.

Features of Persian Hand-Woven Gabbeh
Gabbeh are long-piled, hand-woven carpets made by the Qashqai nomadic tribe in the Zagros Mountains of Iran, using plant-dyed wool. The Persian Variant wool used in this product has excellent durability, developed to survive in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and contains a lot of oil for effective thermoregulation, resulting in soft and pleasant-feeling wool.
Gabbeh, hand-woven meticulously by Iranian nomads, one thread at a time, using naturally dyed wool, are characterized by their plush and pleasant texture.
Well-woven Gabbeh are highly durable, said to last for 100 years.
Born from a climate with extreme temperature differences between day and night, Gabbeh also have the characteristic of being warm in winter and airy and cool in summer.
And above all, there is its artistry. Gabbeh, created imaginatively by nomads, often feature designs of animals and plants, with each one being a unique, original piece.
They can be laid on the floor or even displayed on a wall as art.

Daily Care
Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom along the pile.
For stubborn dirt: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a towel tightly, and gently wipe the surface. Then, wipe thoroughly with water to remove the detergent and dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Please Note
Due to being hand-woven, there may be irregularities in shape and pattern, weaving irregularities, and dye variations. Please understand that these are part of the charm of hand-weaving.
Also, Gabbeh are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, there may be a distinctive odor from the dyes used to color the wool.
The odor will gradually dissipate with use, but please be aware of this in advance.
Pom-poms can also be removed before shipping.

The pom-poms on the corners and in the middle of the Gabbeh can be removed upon request before delivery.
Removing the pom-poms will not adversely affect the quality or durability of the Gabbeh.
