A round Gabbeh entrance mat adds a special accent to your entryway or any space you place it. Its角のない丸い形状 brings softness to the space and creates a warmer atmosphere. It is more compact than a square mat and can be placed in narrow entryways without feeling out of place. It also doesn't obstruct door opening and closing, making it highly practical.
The luxurious fringes, similar to those on Persian rugs, are carefully attached as a special order from our shop.
It features a soft, fluffy, and pleasant texture that can be enjoyed all year round.
As a hand-woven, one-of-a-kind item, enjoy a design that is unique in the world.
This Gabbeh is woven with fine threads, and because it takes more effort to weave, it is a Luri-Baft Gabbeh, which has less thickness and a tighter weave than regular Gabbehs.
Luri means "fine" and Baft means "weave" in Persian.

Characteristics of Persian Hand-Woven Gabbeh
Gabbeh is a hand-woven rug made by the Qashqai tribe, who nomadize in the Zagros Mountains of Iran, using plant-dyed wool with long pile, deeply rooted in their daily life. The Persian Variant wool used in this product has excellent durability to survive in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and a soft, pleasant texture with a high oil content to effectively regulate body temperature.
Gabbehs, woven meticulously by hand, one thread at a time, by Iranian nomads using this naturally dyed wool, are characterized by their fluffy and pleasant texture.
Well-woven Gabbehs are said to last for 100 years, boasting exceptional durability.
Born from a climate with extreme temperature differences between day and night, Gabbehs also have the characteristic of being warm in winter and well-ventilated in summer, preventing feelings of heat.
And above all, there is its artistry. Gabbehs, created from the imagination of nomads, often feature designs of animals and plants, with each one being a unique, one-of-a-kind original.
They can be laid on the floor or even displayed as art on a wall.
Why not find your own special Gabbeh that you can enjoy for a long time?
Daily Care
Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom along the direction of the pile.
For stubborn stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a cloth tightly, and gently wipe the surface. Then, carefully wipe with a damp cloth to remove the detergent, and dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Notes
Due to being hand-woven, there may be distortions in shape or pattern, weaving irregularities, dyeing irregularities, etc. Please be aware that these are part of the charm of hand-weaving.
Also, Gabbehs are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, a unique odor from the dye used on the wool may occur.
The odor will gradually dissipate with use, but please be aware of this in advance.
