Characteristics of Natural Persian Firoozeh (Turquoise) Jewelry
This stone, mined in ancient Persia (Iran), traveled through Turkey to Europe, and the word "Turkish" became the origin of its name. Persian turquoise is a vibrant, deep sky blue color, often called "the color of spring skies," and is a high-quality stone with high hardness. In fact, it was the first stone used by humankind as an amulet against evil.
In Persia, it was cherished by the royal family for many years, and this Persian blue was also highly valued during the Victorian era.
Besides Iran, the best quality producing region, turquoise of varying quality is also found in Australia, America, China, Egypt, and other countries. While much American Arizona turquoise is imported into Japan, this Persian "Firoozeh (turquoise)" is rarely introduced due to the drastic decrease in production in recent years, making it very precious.
Enjoy the vivid, gentle sky blue, the unique Persian blue, of natural Persian turquoise, which is said to be "the color of spring skies" and blends well with skin tones.
Daily Care
We recommend wiping your jewelry clean after each use before storing it to prevent daily dirt accumulation.
Please remove your jewelry before bathing.
Important Notes
As natural stones are used, please be careful to avoid direct contact with perfumes, sweat, or oily substances when wearing the jewelry. While natural Iranian turquoise is highly durable and generally resistant to discoloration, there are rare cases where the color of the stone may change.
