This is a one-of-a-kind original design from our store, crafted by Mr. Javaheri, a renowned Iranian engraver. Reza Javaheri was an engraver who worked as one of the jewelers for the royal family during the Pahlavi dynasty. While teaching at the University of Tehran's Faculty of Fine Arts, he produced jewelry for our store from 1990 to 2007. The delicate designs, tailored to the unique characteristics of each turquoise, further enhance the charm of the stones. The back of each turquoise is individually engraved with gold, matching the shape of the stone.

Features of Natural Persian Firoozeh (Turquoise) Jewelry

This stone, mined in ancient Persia (Iran), was brought to Europe via Turkey, and the word "Turkish" became the origin of its name. Persian turquoise is of the highest quality with high hardness, displaying a vibrant, deep sky blue color often called "the color of spring sky." In fact, this was also the first stone humans used as an amulet for protection.

In Persia, it was cherished as the stone of the royal family for many years, and this Persian blue was also highly valued during the Victorian era.
Besides Iran, the best source, turquoise of varying quality is also produced in Australia, America, China, Egypt, and other locations. While American Arizona turquoise is often brought into Japan, this Persian "Firoozeh (turquoise)" is rarely introduced due to its decreasing production and rarity in recent years.
