This is our original one-of-a-kind design by Mr. Javaheri, a famous Iranian engraver. Mr. Reza Javaheri was an engraver who worked as one of the royal family's jewelers during the reign of the Pahlavi King. While lecturing at Tehran University of Art, he produced our store's jewelry from 1990 to 2007. The delicate design, tailored to the unique characteristics of each turquoise stone, further enhances its charm. The back of each turquoise stone is individually engraved in gold to match its shape.

Characteristics of Persian Natural Firoozeh (Turquoise) Jewelry

This stone, originally mined in ancient Persia (Iran), was transported to Europe via Turkey, and the word "Turkish" became the origin of its name. Persian turquoise is of the highest quality, characterized by a vivid, deep sky blue color, often called "the color of a spring sky," and high hardness. In fact, it was the first stone used by humanity as an amulet for warding off evil.

In Persia, it was beloved by the royal family for many years, and this Persian blue was also highly prized during the Victorian era.
Besides Iran, the best source, turquoise of varying quality is also found in Australia, America, China, Egypt, and other places. Many turquoise stones from Arizona, America, are brought to Japan, but this Persian "Firoozeh (turquoise)" is rarely introduced due to the sharp decrease in production in recent years, making it very rare.
