This is an original one-of-a-kind design by Mr. Javaheri, a famous Iranian engraver. Mr. Reza Javaheri was an engraver who worked as one of the royal family's jewelers during the Pahlavi dynasty. While lecturing at Tehran University of Art, he created our jewelry from 1990 to 2007. The delicate design, tailored to the unique characteristics of each turquoise stone, further enhances its charm. The back of each turquoise stone is individually engraved in gold to match the stone's shape.

This stone, mined in ancient Persia (Iran), reached Europe via Turkey, and the word "Turkish" became the origin of its name. Persian turquoise is of the highest quality with high hardness, displaying a vibrant, deep sky blue often called "the color of the spring sky." In fact, it was the first stone used by humanity as a protective amulet.

In Persia, it was cherished by the royal family for many years, and this Persian blue was also highly valued during the Victorian era.
Besides Iran, the best source, turquoise of varying quality is also produced in Australia, America, China, Egypt, and other places. Many turquoise stones from Arizona, USA, are brought to Japan, but this Persian "Firuze (turquoise)" has become rare due to a drastic decrease in production in recent years and is not widely introduced.
