Characteristics of Natural Persian Firuze (Turquoise) Jewelry
This stone, mined in ancient Persia (Iran), reached Europe via Turkey, and the word "Turkish" became the origin of its name. Persian turquoise is of the highest quality with high hardness, displaying a vibrant, deep sky blue often called "the color of the spring sky." In fact, it was the first stone used by humanity as a protective amulet.
In Persia, it was cherished by the royal family for many years, and this Persian blue was also highly valued during the Victorian era.
Besides Iran, the best source, turquoise of varying quality is also produced in Australia, America, China, Egypt, and other places. Many turquoise stones from Arizona, USA, are brought to Japan, but this Persian "Firuze (turquoise)" has become rare due to a drastic decrease in production in recent years and is not widely introduced.
Enjoy the vivid, gentle sky blue of natural Persian turquoise, often called "the color of the spring sky," which blends well with various skin tones.
Daily Care
We recommend wiping the jewelry clean each time to prevent daily dirt from accumulating before storing it.
Please remove it before bathing.
Notes
Since natural stones are used, please be careful to avoid direct contact with perfumes, sweat, or oily substances when wearing them. While natural Iranian turquoise is highly durable and resistant to discoloration, the color of the stone may rarely change.
