This is a one-of-a-kind original design by our shop, crafted by Mr. Javaheri, a famous Iranian engraver. Mr. Reza Javaheri was an engraver who worked as one of the royal family's jewelers during the Pahlavi dynasty. While lecturing at Tehran University of Art, he created jewelry for our store from 1990 to 2007. The delicate designs, tailored to the unique characteristics of each turquoise stone, further enhance its beauty.

This stone, originally mined in Persia (Iran), reached Europe via Turkey, and the word "Turkish" became the origin of its name. Persian turquoise is a vibrant, deep blue sky color, often called "the color of spring sky," and is a high-quality stone with high hardness. In fact, it was the first stone used by humans as an amulet for protection.

In Persia, it has long been cherished as the stone of the royal family, and this Persian blue was also highly valued during the Victorian era.
Besides Iran, the best quality source, turquoise is also produced in Australia, America, China, Egypt, and other countries, with varying qualities. While a lot of American Arizona turquoise is imported into Japan, this Persian "Firuzeh (turquoise)" is rarely introduced due to its decreasing production in recent years, making it a precious stone.
