This is an original one-of-a-kind design by Mr. Javaheri, a famous Iranian engraver. Mr. Reza Javaheri was an engraver who worked as one of the royal family's jewelers during the Pahlavi dynasty. While lecturing at Tehran University of Art, he created jewelry for our store from 1990 to 2007. The delicate designs, tailored to the unique characteristics of each turquoise stone, further enhance its charm. The back of each turquoise stone is individually engraved with gold, matching the stone's shape.

This stone, mined in ancient Persia (Iran), was brought to Europe via Turkey, and the word "Turkish" became the origin of its name. Persian turquoise is a vibrant, deep sky blue, known as "the color of spring sky," and is a high-quality, hard stone. In fact, it was also the first stone used by humankind as an amulet for protection.

In Persia, it was beloved as the stone of the royal family for many years, and this Persian blue was also highly prized during the Victorian era.
Besides Iran, the best quality producing region, turquoise is also produced in Australia, America, China, Egypt, and other places, with varying qualities. While American Arizona turquoise is often imported into Japan, this Persian "firuze (turquoise)" is rarely introduced due to its dwindling production and rarity in recent years.
