This is our original one-of-a-kind design by Mr. Javaheri, a famous Iranian engraver. Leather Javaheri was an engraver who worked as one of the royal family's jewelers during the reign of the Pahlavi Shah. While teaching at the Tehran University of Art, he created our jewelry from 1990 to 2007. The delicate designs, tailored to the unique characteristics of each turquoise stone, further enhance the beauty of the turquoise. The back of each turquoise stone is individually engraved with gold to match the stone's shape.

This stone, mined in ancient Persia (Iran), was brought to Europe via Turkey, and the word "Turkish" became the origin of its name. Persian turquoise is a vivid, deep sky blue, described as "the color of spring sky," and is a high-quality stone with high hardness. In fact, it was the first stone used by humans as an amulet for protection.

In Persia, it was cherished as the stone of the royal family for many years, and this Persian blue was also highly valued during the Victorian era.
Besides Iran, the best quality producing region, turquoise of varying qualities is also produced in Australia, America, China, Egypt, etc. Many turquoise stones from Arizona, USA, are brought to Japan, but this Persian "Firoozeh (turquoise)" is rarely introduced because its production has drastically decreased in recent years, making it precious.

We recommend wiping the jewelry each time before storing it to prevent everyday dirt from adhering.

Since natural stones are used, please be careful to avoid direct contact with perfumes, sweat, or oily substances when wearing them. Natural Iranian turquoise is highly hard and resistant to discoloration, but in rare cases, the stone's color may change.
