This is our original, one-of-a-kind design by Mr. Javaheri, a famous Iranian engraver. Mr. Reza Javaheri was an engraver who worked as one of the royal family's jewelers during the reign of King Pahlavi. While teaching at the University of Fine Arts in Tehran, he produced our store's jewelry from 1990 to 2007. The delicate design, tailored to the unique characteristics of each turquoise stone, further enhances the beauty of the turquoise. The back of each turquoise stone is individually engraved with gold to match its shape.

Characteristics of Natural Persian Firoozeh (Turquoise) Jewelry

This stone, mined in ancient Persia (Iran), was brought to Europe via Turkey, and the word "Turkish" became the origin of its name. Persian turquoise is a vivid, deep sky blue, known as "the color of the spring sky," and is a high-quality stone with high hardness. In fact, this is also the first stone humans ever used as a protective amulet.

In Persia, it has long been cherished as the stone of the royal family, and this Persian blue was also highly valued during the Victorian era.
Besides Iran, the best quality producing region, turquoise of varying quality is also found in Australia, America, China, Egypt, and other places. Many turquoise stones from Arizona, USA, are brought into Japan, but this Persian "Firoozeh (turquoise)" is rarely introduced due to its significantly decreased production in recent years, making it a valuable stone.
