This is a one-of-a-kind original design from our shop, crafted by the renowned Iranian engraver, Mr. Javaheri. Mr. Leather Javaheri was a goldsmith who served as one of the royal family's jewelers during the Pahlavi dynasty. While lecturing at the University of Tehran's Faculty of Fine Arts, he produced jewelry for our shop from 1990 to 2007. His delicate designs, tailored to the unique characteristics of each turquoise, further enhance the stone's appeal. The back of each turquoise stone is individually engraved in gold to match its unique shape.

Characteristics of Persian Natural Firuzeh (Turquoise) Jewelry

This stone, mined in ancient Persia (Iran), was brought to Europe via Turkey, and the word "Turkish" became the origin of its name. Persian turquoise is of the highest quality, with a high hardness and a vibrant, deep sky blue color, known as "the color of the spring sky." In fact, it was the first stone used by humanity as a protective amulet.

In Persia, it was cherished as the stone of the royal family for many years, and this Persian blue was also highly valued during the Victorian era.
Besides Iran, the best quality source, turquoise is also produced in Australia, America, China, Egypt, and other countries, with varying qualities. While American Arizona turquoise is often brought to Japan, this Persian "Firuzeh (turquoise)" is rarely introduced due to its significantly decreased production in recent years, making it quite rare.
