This is a one-of-a-kind original design by our shop, crafted by the renowned Iranian goldsmith Mr. Javaheri. Leather Javaheri was a goldsmith who worked as one of the royal family's jewelers during the reign of the Pahlavi kings. While lecturing at the Tehran University of Fine Arts, he created our shop's jewelry from 1990 to 2007. The delicate designs, tailored to the unique characteristics of each turquoise, further enhance the beauty of the turquoise.

This stone, once mined in Persia (Iran), reached Europe via Turkey, and the word "Turkish" became the origin of its name. Persian turquoise is a vivid, deep sky-blue color, often referred to as "the color of spring sky," and is a high-quality stone with high hardness. In fact, it was the first stone used by humanity as a protective amulet.

In Persia, it was cherished as a royal family stone for many years, and this Persian blue was also highly valued during the Victorian era.
Besides Iran, which is the best quality producing region, turquoise of varying quality is also found in Australia, America, China, Egypt, and other places. While much American Arizona turquoise is brought into Japan, this Persian "Firuze (turquoise)" is rarely introduced due to its drastically reduced production in recent years, making it a precious commodity.
