This is a one-of-a-kind original design by our shop, crafted by the famous Iranian engraver, Mr. Javaheri. Mr. Reza Javaheri was an engraver who worked as one of the royal family's jewelers during the reign of the Pahlavi king. While lecturing at the University of Tehran's School of Fine Arts, he created jewelry for our shop from 1990 to 2007. The delicate designs, tailored to each individual turquoise, further enhance its charm. The back of each turquoise is individually engraved with gold to match the shape of the stone.

Features of Natural Persian Firuze (Turquoise) Jewelry

This stone, mined in ancient Persia (Iran), was transported to Europe via Turkey, and the word "Turkish" became the origin of its name. Persian turquoise is of the highest quality, known for its hardness and vivid, deep blue "spring sky color." In fact, this was the first stone humanity used as an amulet for protection.

In Persia, it was cherished as the stone of the royal family for many years, and this "Persian blue" was highly valued even during the Victorian era.
Besides Iran, the best quality producing region, turquoise of varying qualities is also produced in Australia, America, China, Egypt, and other countries. While much Arizona turquoise from America is brought to Japan, this Persian "Firuze (turquoise)" is rarely introduced due to its drastically decreased production in recent years, making it very rare.
