This is an original, one-of-a-kind design by the famous Iranian metal engraver, Mr. Javaheri, exclusively for our store. Mr. Leather Javaheri was a metal engraver who worked as one of the royal family's jewelers during the Pahlavi dynasty. While lecturing at Tehran University of Art, he created jewelry for our store from 1990 to 2007. His delicate designs, tailored to the unique characteristics of each turquoise stone, further enhance the stone's beauty. The back of each turquoise stone is individually engraved in gold to match the stone's shape.

Characteristics of Natural Persian Firoozeh (Turquoise) Jewelry

This stone, mined in ancient Persia (Iran), was brought to Europe via Turkey, giving rise to its name "turquoise," meaning "Turkish." Persian turquoise is a high-quality stone with high hardness, known for its vivid, deep sky-blue color, often described as "the color of spring skies." In fact, it was the first stone ever used by humanity as a protective amulet.

In Persia, it was cherished as the royal family's stone for many years, and this Persian blue was also highly valued during the Victorian era.
Besides Iran, the finest source, turquoise is also found in various qualities in Australia, America, China, Egypt, and other regions. While American Arizona turquoise is commonly imported into Japan, this Persian "Firoozeh (turquoise)" is rarely introduced due to its significantly decreased production in recent years, making it a precious stone.
