Characteristics of Natural Persian Firoozeh (Turquoise) Jewelry
This stone, mined in ancient Persia (Iran), was brought to Europe via Turkey, and the word "Turkish" became the origin of its name. Persian turquoise is known for its vibrant and deep sky blue color, often called the "color of the spring sky," and is a high-quality stone with high hardness. In fact, this is the stone that humankind first used as an amulet for protection.

In Persia, it was cherished as the stone of the royal family for many years, and this Persian blue was also highly valued in the Victorian era. Besides Iran, which is the best source, turquoise of varying qualities is produced in Australia, America, China, Egypt, and other places. While much turquoise from Arizona, USA, is brought into Japan, this Persian "Firoozeh (turquoise)" is rarely introduced due to its decreasing production in recent years, making it very valuable. Please enjoy the vivid, gentle sky blue, Persian blue, unique to natural Persian turquoise, which is said to be the "color of the spring sky" and blends well with skin tones.
Daily Care
We recommend wiping the item clean each time before storing it to prevent daily dirt from accumulating. Please remove it before bathing.
