This is a unique, original design created by the renowned Iranian engraver, Mr. Javaheri, exclusively for our shop. Mr. Leather Javaheri was an accomplished engraver who served as one of the royal family's jewelers during the Pahlavi dynasty. While also lecturing at Tehran University of Art, he crafted jewelry for our shop from 1990 to 2007. The delicate designs, tailored to the unique character of each turquoise stone, further enhance its natural beauty. The back of each turquoise stone is individually engraved with gold, matching the stone's unique shape.

Characteristics of Persian Natural Firoozeh (Turquoise) Jewelry

This stone, originally mined in ancient Persia (Iran), was brought to Europe via Turkey, and the word "Turkish" became the origin of its name. Persian turquoise is of the highest quality, characterized by its high hardness and a vibrant, deep sky blue color often referred to as the "color of spring sky." In fact, it was one of the first stones used by humanity as a protective amulet.

In Persia, it has long been cherished as the stone of the royal family, and this Persian blue was also highly valued during the Victorian era.
Besides Iran, the best quality source, turquoise is also produced in Australia, America, China, Egypt, etc., with varying qualities. While American Arizona turquoise is widely imported into Japan, Persian "Firoozeh" (turquoise) is rarely introduced due to its drastically decreasing output in recent years, making it a precious commodity.
