This is a one-of-a-kind original design by our shop, crafted by the renowned Iranian engraver Mr. Javaheri. Leather Javaheri was an engraver who worked as one of the royal family's jewelers during the Pahlavi King era. While lecturing at the Tehran University of Fine Arts, he created our shop's jewelry from 1990 to 2007. The delicate designs, tailored to the individuality of each turquoise stone, further enhance the beauty of the turquoise. The back of each turquoise stone is individually engraved with gold to match its unique shape.

Characteristics of Natural Persian Firuze (Turquoise) Jewelry

This stone, mined in ancient Persia (Iran), was brought to Europe via Turkey, and the word "Turkish" became the origin of its name. Persian turquoise is a vivid, deep sky blue color, often called "the color of spring sky," and is a high-quality stone with high hardness. In fact, this stone was the first used by humankind as a protective amulet.

In Persia, it has long been cherished as the stone of the royal family, and this Persian blue was also highly valued during the Victorian era.
Besides Iran, the best quality source, turquoise of varying qualities is also produced in Australia, America, China, Egypt, and other places. Many turquoise stones from Arizona, America, are brought to Japan, but this natural Persian "firuze" (turquoise) is rarely introduced due to its scarcity and significant decrease in production in recent years.
