Characteristics of Natural Persian Firoozeh (Turquoise) Jewelry
This stone, mined in ancient Persia (Iran), reached Europe via Turkey, which is how the word "Turkish" became the origin of its name. Persian turquoise is a vivid, deep sky-blue color, often called "the color of spring sky," and is a high-quality, hard stone. In fact, it was the first stone used by humanity as an amulet for protection.
In Persia, it was cherished as the stone of the royal family for many years, and this Persian blue was also highly valued during the Victorian era.
Besides Iran, the best quality source, turquoise of varying qualities is also produced in Australia, America, China, Egypt, and other locations. While many American Arizona turquoise stones are brought to Japan, this Persian "Firoozeh (turquoise)" is rarely introduced due to its drastic decrease in production in recent years, making it valuable.
Enjoy the distinct vivid and gentle sky-blue, Persian blue, of natural Persian turquoise, often called "the color of spring sky," which harmonizes well with various skin tones.
Daily Care
We recommend wiping the jewelry each time before storing it to prevent daily dirt accumulation.
Please remove it before bathing.
Notes
Since natural stones are used, please be careful to prevent perfumes, sweat, or oil-based substances from directly contacting the stone when wearing it. While natural Iranian turquoise is known for its high hardness and resistance to discoloration, the color of the stone may rarely change.
