Features of natural Persian Firoozeh (turquoise) jewelry
This stone, mined in ancient Persia (Iran), reached Europe via Turkey, and the word "Turkish" became the origin of its name. Persian turquoise is of the highest quality, with a vivid, deep sky blue color, known as "the color of the spring sky," and high hardness. In fact, it was also the first stone used by humans as an amulet for protection.
In Persia, it has long been cherished as the stone of the royal family, and this Persian blue was also highly valued during the Victorian era.
Besides Iran, the best source, turquoise of varying quality is also produced in Australia, the United States, China, Egypt, and other places. While a lot of turquoise from Arizona in the United States is brought into Japan, this Persian "firoozeh (turquoise)" is rarely introduced due to its drastically decreased production in recent years and its preciousness.
Please enjoy the vivid and gentle sky blue, the Persian blue, unique to natural Persian turquoise, known as "the color of the spring sky," which blends easily with skin tones.
Daily Care
We recommend wiping the jewelry each time before storing it to prevent daily dirt accumulation.
Please remove it before bathing.
Important Notes
As natural stones are used, please be careful not to expose them directly to perfumes, sweat, or oil-based substances when wearing them. While natural Iranian turquoise is highly durable and resistant to discoloration, the stone's color may rarely change.
