Characteristics of Natural Persian Firuze (Turquoise) Jewelry
This stone, mined in ancient Persia (Iran), was brought to Europe via Turkey, and the word "Turkish" became the origin of its name. Persian turquoise is a vibrant, deep sky-blue color, often called "the color of spring skies," and is a high-quality stone with high hardness. In fact, it was the first stone ever used by humanity as a protective amulet.
In Persia, it was cherished as the royal family's stone for many years, and this Persian blue was also highly valued during the Victorian era.
Besides Iran, the best quality producing region, turquoise of varying qualities is also produced in Australia, America, China, Egypt, and other countries. While much of the turquoise brought to Japan comes from Arizona in the United States, this Persian "firuze (turquoise)" is rarely introduced due to its drastically decreasing production in recent years and its resulting rarity.
Enjoy the vivid, gentle sky-blue, Persian blue, unique to natural Persian turquoise, often called "the color of spring skies," which harmonizes well with skin tones.
Daily Care
We recommend wiping the jewelry each time after wearing to prevent everyday dirt from accumulating before storing it.
Please remove it before taking a bath.
Notes
As natural stones are used, please be careful to prevent perfume, sweat, or oil-based substances from directly contacting the stone when wearing it. Natural Iranian turquoise is characterized by its high hardness and resistance to discoloration, but in rare cases, the color of the stone may change.
