This is an original, one-of-a-kind design from our store, crafted by Mr. Javaheri, a renowned Iranian engraver. Mr. Leather Javaheri was an engraver who worked as one of the royal family's jewelers during the Pahlavi dynasty. While lecturing at Tehran University of Art, he created jewelry for our store from 1990 to 2007. The delicate designs, tailored to the unique characteristics of each turquoise stone, further enhance its appeal. The back of each turquoise stone is individually engraved with gold, matching the stone's unique shape.

This stone, mined in ancient Persia (Iran), was brought to Europe via Turkey, and the word "Turkish" became the etymology of its name. Persian turquoise is a vibrant, deep sky-blue color, often called "the color of spring skies," and is a high-quality stone with high hardness. In fact, this was the first stone used by humans as an amulet for warding off evil.

In Persia, it was cherished as the stone of the royal family for many years, and this Persian blue was also highly valued during the Victorian era.
In addition to Iran, the best quality source, turquoise is also produced in Australia, America, China, Egypt, and other places, with varying qualities. While a lot of American Arizona turquoise is brought into Japan, this Persian "Firoozeh (turquoise)" is rarely introduced due to its drastically decreased output in recent years, making it very valuable.
