This is an original, one-of-a-kind design by the famous Iranian engraver, Mr. Javaheri. Mr. Reza Javaheri was an engraver who worked as one of the royal family's jewelers during the Pahlavi dynasty. While teaching at Tehran University of Art, he created jewelry for our store from 1990 to 2007. His delicate designs, tailored to the unique characteristics of each turquoise stone, further enhance the charm of the turquoise.

This stone, mined in ancient Persia (Iran), was brought to Europe via Turkey, and the word "Turkish" became the origin of its name. Persian turquoise is of the highest quality, characterized by its high hardness and a vibrant, deep sky blue color often described as "the color of spring skies." In fact, it was the first stone ever used by humans as a protective amulet.

In Persia, it was cherished as the stone of the royal family for many years, and this "Persian Blue" was also highly prized during the Victorian era.
Besides Iran, the best quality source, turquoise of varying quality is also found in Australia, the United States, China, Egypt, and other places. While much American Arizona turquoise is brought into Japan, this Persian "Firoozeh (turquoise)" is rarely introduced due to its decreasing production in recent years, making it a valuable stone.
