This is a one-of-a-kind original design from our store, crafted by the famous Iranian engraver, Mr. Javaheri. Mr. Leather Javaheri was an engraver who worked as one of the royal family's jewelers during the Pahlavi dynasty. While lecturing at the University of Tehran's Faculty of Fine Arts, he created jewelry for our store from 1990 to 2007. The delicate designs, tailored to the unique characteristics of each turquoise stone, further enhance the beauty of the turquoise. The back of each turquoise stone is individually engraved with gold, matching the stone's shape.

The stone found in ancient Persia (Iran) was brought to Europe via Turkey, and the word "Turkish" became the origin of its name. Persian turquoise is of the highest quality with high hardness, displaying a vivid, deep sky-blue color, often described as "the color of a spring sky." In fact, it was the first stone used by humans as an amulet for protection.

In Persia, this stone was cherished by the royal family for many years, and this Persian blue was also highly valued during the Victorian era.
Besides Iran, the best quality source, turquoise is also produced in Australia, America, China, Egypt, and other places, with varying qualities. While many American Arizona turquoises are imported into Japan, Persian "firuze" (turquoise) is rarely introduced due to its decreasing production and rarity in recent years.
