This is a one-of-a-kind original design from our store, crafted by Mr. Javaheri, a renowned Iranian engraver. Mr. Javaheri, a master engraver, served as one of the royal family's jewelers during the Pahlavi dynasty. While lecturing at Tehran University of Fine Arts, he produced jewelry for our store from 1990 to 2007. The delicate designs, tailored to the unique characteristics of each turquoise stone, further enhance the allure of the turquoise.

This stone, mined in ancient Persia (Iran), reached Europe via Turkey, which is why "Turkish" became the origin of its name. Persian turquoise is of the highest quality, characterized by its vibrant, deep sky-blue color, often referred to as "the color of the spring sky," and its high hardness. In fact, it was one of the first stones used by humanity as a protective amulet.

In Persia, it was cherished as the stone of the royal family for many years, and this Persian blue was also highly valued during the Victorian era.
Besides Iran, the best quality source, turquoise is also found in various qualities in Australia, the United States, China, Egypt, and other locations. While much American Arizona turquoise is imported into Japan, the "Firoozeh (turquoise)" from Persia is rarely introduced due to its drastically decreasing output in recent years, making it a precious commodity.
