This is a one-of-a-kind original design from our store, created by the renowned Iranian engraver, Mr. Javaheri. Mr. Leather Javaheri was an engraver who worked as one of the royal family's jewelers during the Pahlavi dynasty. While lecturing at the Tehran University of Art, he produced jewelry for our store from 1990 to 2007. The delicate designs, tailored to the unique characteristics of each turquoise, further enhance the charm of the turquoise. The back of each turquoise is engraved with gold, one by one, to match the shape of the stone.

This stone, once mined in Persia (Iran), reached Europe via Turkey, and the word "Turkish" became the origin of its name. Persian turquoise is a highly prized stone of the highest quality, with a vivid, deep sky-blue color often referred to as "the color of spring sky." In fact, this was the first stone used by humanity as a protective amulet.

In Persia, it was cherished as a royal family stone for many years, and this "Persian blue" was highly valued during the Victorian era. Besides Iran, which is the best quality producing region for turquoise, different qualities are also found in Australia, America, China, and Egypt. Many American Arizona turquoises are brought into Japan, but the natural Persian "Firuze (turquoise)" is rarely introduced due to its rarity and drastically decreased production in recent years.
