Features of Persian Hand-woven Gabbeh
Gabbeh are long-piled, vegetable-dyed wool rugs hand-woven by the Qashqai nomadic tribe of the Zagros Mountains in Iran, deeply rooted in their way of life. The Persian Variant wool used in this product has excellent durability, allowing it to survive the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and contains a high fat content to regulate body temperature, resulting in a soft and pleasant texture.

Daily Care
Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom along the direction of the pile.
If dirt is a concern: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a cloth or towel until almost dry, and gently wipe the surface. Then, wipe thoroughly with water to remove the detergent, and dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Important Notes
Due to being hand-woven, there may be variations in shape and pattern, weaving irregularities, and dyeing irregularities. Please consider these as part of the charm of hand-weaving.
Also, Gabbeh are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, a unique scent from the dyes used on the wool may occur.
This scent will gradually dissipate with use, but please be aware of this in advance.
