It can also be used on sofas, dining chairs, car seats, or as a cushion.
Additionally, it can be placed on a sofa or in various spots as an accent piece.
The luxurious fringes, similar to those on Persian rugs, are carefully attached through our special order.
It is characterized by its soft, fluffy texture, which is pleasant to the touch and can be used all year round.
Enjoy a one-of-a-kind, hand-woven design that is truly unique.
This particular Gabbeh is woven with fine threads, and because it requires more effort to weave, it is a "Liezbaf Gabbeh" with less thickness and a tighter weave than regular Gabbehs.
"Liez" means "fine" in Persian, and "baf" means "weave."

Characteristics of Persian Hand-woven Gabbeh
Gabbeh rugs are long-pile, hand-woven carpets made by the Qashqai tribe, who nomadically roam the Zagros Mountains in Iran, using vegetable-dyed wool deeply rooted in their daily lives. The "Persian Variant" wool used in this product possesses excellent durability for surviving the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, as well as a soft and pleasant texture due to its high oil content, which helps with temperature regulation.
The Gabbeh rugs, woven meticulously by hand, knot by knot, by Iranian nomads using this naturally dyed wool, are characterized by their fluffy and comfortable feel.
Well-woven Gabbeh rugs are highly durable, said to last for 100 years.
Originating from a climate with extreme temperature differences between day and night, Gabbeh rugs also have the characteristic of being warm in winter and airy and cool in summer.
And above all, there is its artistry. Gabbeh rugs created from the imagination of nomads often feature designs of animals and plants, making each one a unique, one-of-a-kind piece with no two alike.
They can be laid on the floor or even displayed on a wall as art.
How about finding your own special Gabbeh, one that you can use for a long time?
Daily Care
Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom along the pile.
For stubborn dirt: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a towel tightly, and gently wipe the surface. Then, carefully wipe with a damp cloth to remove the detergent, and dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Points to Note
Due to being hand-woven, there may be irregularities in shape and pattern, weaving inconsistencies, and dye variations. Please understand these as part of the charm of hand-woven items.
Also, Gabbeh rugs are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, a unique odor from the dyes used to color the wool may be present.
This odor will gradually dissipate with use, but please be aware of this in advance.
Pompoms can also be removed before shipping.
The pompoms attached to the corners or middle of the Gabbeh can be removed upon request before shipment.
Removing the pompoms does not negatively affect the quality or durability of the Gabbeh.
If you wish to have the pompoms removed before shipping, please feel free to contact us via email or phone below.
