Gabbeh rugs, hand-woven meticulously by Iranian nomads one by one after dyeing the wool with natural dyes, are characterized by their plush and delightful feel.
Well-woven Gabbeh are said to last for 100 years, boasting exceptional durability.
Born from a climate with extreme day-night temperature differences, Gabbeh are also characterized by being warm in winter and airy and not feeling hot in summer.
And, above all, their artistry. Gabbeh created imaginatively by nomads often feature animal and plant designs, with each piece being a unique, one-of-a-kind original.
