This Persian hand-woven Gabbeh rug is recommended for round chairs, stools, and bow-back chairs (chairs with a curved seat on the backrest side).
It can also be used on sofas, dining chairs, car seats, or as a cushion.
It's also great as an accent piece, placed on a sofa or in various other spots.
The luxurious fringe, similar to that of a Persian rug, is carefully attached as a special order from our shop.
It is soft, fluffy, and has a pleasant texture that can be used all year round.
Enjoy a one-of-a-kind, hand-woven design that is unique in the world.
This Gabbeh is woven with fine threads, and because it takes more effort to weave, it is a "Liezbaft Gabbeh," which is thinner and has a tighter weave than regular Gabbeh.
"Liez" means "fine" in Persian, and "baft" means "weave."

Features of Persian Hand-Woven Gabbeh
Gabbeh rugs are hand-woven by the Qashqai tribe, who nomadize in the Zagros Mountains of Iran, using plant-dyed wool. These are long-pile rugs deeply rooted in their daily lives. The Persian Valiant wool used in this product has excellent durability to survive the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and its hair quality is soft and pleasant to the touch, containing a lot of oil to regulate body temperature effectively.
Gabbeh rugs, woven meticulously by Iranian nomads one by one with this natural-dyed wool, are characterized by their fluffy and comfortable feel.
Well-woven Gabbeh rugs are so durable that they are said to last 100 years.
Gabbeh rugs, born from the extreme temperature differences between day and night, are warm in winter and airy in summer, with the characteristic of not feeling hot.
And above all, their artistry. Gabbeh rugs created by the imagination of nomads often feature designs of animals and plants, with each one being a unique, one-of-a-kind original.
They can be laid on the floor or even hung on the wall as art.
Why not find your own special Gabbeh, one that you can use for a long time?
Daily Care
Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom along the pile.
If you are concerned about stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a cloth tightly, and gently wipe the surface. Then, wipe thoroughly with water to remove the detergent, and dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Notes
Due to being hand-woven, there may be distortions in shape and pattern, weaving irregularities, dyeing irregularities, etc. Please be aware that these are part of the charm of hand-weaving.
Also, Gabbeh rugs are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, a unique scent from the dye used on the wool may occur.
The scent will gradually disappear with use, but please be aware of this in advance.
Pom-poms can be removed before shipping.
If you request, we can remove the pom-poms from the corners and middle of the Gabbeh before delivery.
Removing the pom-poms does not negatively affect the quality or durability of the Gabbeh.
If you wish to have the pom-poms removed before shipping, please feel free to contact us via email or phone below.
