Features of Persian Hand-woven Gabbeh
Gabbeh are long-piled rugs hand-woven by the Qashqai tribe, nomadic people who live in the Zagros Mountains of Iran, using plant-dyed wool as an integral part of their daily lives. The Persian Variant wool used in this product is known for its excellent durability, necessary for survival in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and its soft, pleasant texture, which contains a lot of oil to regulate body temperature effectively.
These Gabbeh, woven by Iranian nomads with care, one strand at a time, using naturally dyed wool, are characterized by their plush and comfortable feel.

Daily Care
Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom along the pile.
For stubborn stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water and gently wipe the surface with a tightly wrung towel or similar cloth. Then, carefully wipe with a damp cloth to remove the detergent, and dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Important Notes
Due to the hand-woven nature, there may be variations in shape and pattern, weaving irregularities, and dye variations. Please understand that these are part of the charm of hand-weaving.
Also, Gabbeh are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, a unique odor from the wool dyes may be present.
This odor will gradually disappear with use, but please be aware of this beforehand.
