Characteristics of Persian Hand-woven Gabbeh

Gabbeh are long-piled rugs hand-woven by the Qashqai tribe, who nomadically inhabit the Zagros Mountains in Iran, using vegetable-dyed wool. The Persian Variant wool used in this product has excellent durability to survive in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains and soft, pleasant-to-the-touch fibers rich in oil to regulate body temperature effectively. These Gabbeh, hand-woven meticulously by Iranian nomads using natural dyes, are characterized by their plush and comfortable texture. Daily Care

Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom along the pile. For stubborn stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a towel tightly, and gently wipe the surface. Then, wipe thoroughly with a damp cloth to remove detergent, and dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
