This is a set of two hand-woven Gabbeh chair pads from Iran.
Our interior designer selected these two items from a large collection of unique Gabbeh rugs, choosing those with a similar aesthetic to create a cohesive set.
They can be used as chair pads for dining tables, car seats, or as floor cushions.
They are also recommended as interior accents, placed on sofas or in various other locations.
We've paired them with patterns and colors that will easily match a variety of rooms.
They are soft, plush, and have a pleasant texture that can be enjoyed all year round.
As hand-woven, one-of-a-kind pieces, you can enjoy a design found nowhere else in the world.
Gabbehs by HAJI are characterized by their distinctive designs and are special Gabbehs woven only in specific small villages in Shiraz.

Characteristics of Persian Hand-Woven Gabbeh Rugs
Gabbeh rugs are hand-woven by the Qashqai nomads in the Zagros Mountains of Iran. They are deeply rooted in their daily life and are characterized by long-pile wool, dyed with natural dyes. The Persian variant wool used in this product, originating from sheep in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, possesses excellent durability for survival and contains a high amount of natural oils, resulting in a soft and pleasant texture that helps regulate body temperature. Gabbeh rugs, meticulously hand-woven by Iranian nomads, thread by thread, using this naturally dyed wool, are characterized by their plush and comfortable feel.
Well-woven Gabbeh rugs are highly durable, said to last for 100 years.
Gabbeh rugs, created in an environment with extreme daily temperature differences, also have the characteristic of being warm in winter and airy and cool in summer.
And, above all, their artistry. Gabbeh rugs, imaginatively created by nomads, often feature designs of animals and plants, making each one a unique, one-of-a-kind original.
They can, of course, be laid on the floor, but they can also be hung on walls as art.
Why not find your own special Gabbeh, one you can cherish for a long time?
Daily Care
Please remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom along the direction of the pile.
If concerned about stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool and silk) with water, wring out a towel or similar cloth tightly, and gently wipe the surface. Then, carefully wipe with a damp cloth to remove detergent, and dry in a well-ventilated shaded area.
Important Notes
Due to being hand-woven, there may be variations in shape and pattern, weaving irregularities, and dyeing irregularities. Please understand that these are part of the charm of hand-woven items.
Also, Gabbeh rugs are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, a unique odor from the dyes used on the wool may occur.
The odor will gradually dissipate with use, but please be aware of this in advance.
Pompoms can be removed before shipping.

If requested, the pompoms attached to the corners and middle of the Gabbeh can be removed before delivery.
Removing the pompoms does not adversely affect the quality or durability of the Gabbeh.
If you wish to have the pompoms removed before shipping, please feel free to contact us via email or phone below.
