Features of Persian Hand-woven Gabbeh
Gabbeh are long-pile, hand-woven rugs made by the Qashqai nomads in the Zagros Mountains of Iran, using plant-dyed wool. The Persian variant wool used in this product is known for its excellent durability to survive in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and its soft, pleasant texture with a high oil content for effective body temperature regulation.
These Gabbeh, woven by Iranian nomads with wool dyed with natural dyes, are characterized by their fluffy and pleasant feel.

Daily Care
Remove dust and debris with a vacuum cleaner or broom, following the direction of the pile.
For noticeable stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water and gently wipe the surface with a tightly wrung towel or similar. Then, carefully wipe with water to remove the detergent, and dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Points to Note
As these are hand-woven, there may be distortions in shape or pattern, weaving irregularities, and dyeing irregularities. Please understand that these are part of the charm of hand-weaving.
Also, Gabbeh are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, there may be a unique smell from the dye used on the wool.
The smell will gradually disappear with use, but please be aware of this in advance.
Pom-poms can be removed upon request
The pom-poms on the corners or middle of the Gabbeh can be removed upon request before shipping.
Removing the pom-poms does not negatively affect the quality or durability of the Gabbeh.
