Features of Persian Hand-Woven Gabbeh

The Persian variant wool used in this product possesses excellent durability, necessary for surviving the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and soft, pleasant-feeling fibers rich in oil to effectively regulate body temperature.
Gabbeh, made by nomads in Iran who dye this wool with natural dyes and meticulously hand-weave each strand, are characterized by their fluffy and pleasant texture.
A well-woven Gabbeh is said to last 100 years, boasting outstanding durability.
Born from a climate with extreme temperature differences between day and night, Gabbeh also have the unique characteristic of being warm in winter and airy and cool in summer.
And above all, there is its artistry. Gabbeh, created from the imagination of nomads, often feature animal and plant designs, and each one is a unique, original piece.
They can be laid on the floor or even displayed as art on a wall.

The odor will gradually dissipate with use, but please be aware of this beforehand.
