Characteristics of Persian Hand-Woven Gabbeh
Gabbeh are long-pile rugs rooted in everyday life, hand-woven by the Qashqai tribe who nomadize the Zagros Mountains in Iran, using plant-dyed wool. The Persian Variant wool used in this product has excellent durability to survive in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and a soft, pleasant texture rich in oils to effectively regulate body temperature.
These Gabbeh rugs, hand-woven meticulously one by one by Iranian nomads after dyeing the wool with natural dyes, are characterized by their plush and pleasant feel.
Well-woven Gabbeh are said to last for 100 years, boasting superior durability.
Gabbeh, born from a climate with extreme temperature differences between day and night, also have the characteristic of being warm in winter and well-ventilated in summer, preventing heat.
And above all, there is its artistry. Gabbeh created from the imagination of nomads often feature designs of animals and plants, with each one being a unique, original item.
They can, of course, be laid on the floor, but also hung on walls as art.
Why not find your own special Gabbeh that you can use for a long time?

Important Notes
Due to being hand-woven, there may be variations in shape and pattern, weaving irregularities, and dyeing irregularities. Please consider these as part of the charm of hand-weaving.
Also, Gabbeh rugs are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, a unique scent from the dye used on the wool may occur.
The scent will gradually dissipate with use, but please be aware of this in advance.
