Gabbeh rugs are long-pile, hand-woven carpets made from vegetable-dyed wool by the Qashqai nomads in the Zagros Mountains of Iran, deeply rooted in their daily lives. The Persian Valiant wool used in this product has excellent durability, allowing sheep to survive in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and contains a high amount of lanolin for effective temperature regulation, resulting in a soft and pleasant texture.

Daily Care

Vacuum or sweep along the pile to remove dirt and dust.
For stubborn dirt: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a towel tightly, and gently wipe the surface. Then, wipe thoroughly with a damp cloth to remove the detergent, and dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
