Characteristics of Persian Hand-Woven Gabbeh
Gabbeh are long-piled, hand-woven carpets made by the Qashqai tribe who nomadic in Iran's Zagros Mountains, using vegetable-dyed wool. The Persian Variant wool used in this product has excellent durability, necessary for survival in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and a soft, pleasant texture with high oil content to efficiently regulate body temperature.
Gabbeh, hand-woven thread by thread by Iranian nomads using this naturally dyed wool, are characterized by their plush and pleasant feel.
Well-woven Gabbeh are said to last for 100 years, demonstrating their exceptional durability.
Born from a climate with extreme temperature differences between day and night, Gabbeh are warm in winter and airy in summer, preventing a feeling of heat.
And, above all, their artistry is remarkable. The Gabbeh created by the nomads' imagination often feature designs of animals and plants, with each piece being a unique, one-of-a-kind original.
They can, of course, be laid on the floor, but are also artistic enough to be hung on walls.

Daily Care
Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom along the direction of the pile.
For stubborn stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool and silk) with water and gently wipe the surface with a tightly wrung towel. Afterwards, wipe thoroughly with a damp cloth to remove any detergent residue, then dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Important Notes
Due to the hand-woven nature, there may be variations in shape and pattern, weaving irregularities, and dyeing inconsistencies. Please understand that these are part of the charm of hand-woven items.
Also, Gabbeh are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, there may be a unique smell from the dye used on the wool.
This smell will gradually dissipate with use, but please be aware of this beforehand.
Pompoms can be removed before shipping

The pompoms on the corners and in the middle of the Gabbeh can be removed upon request before delivery.
Removing the pompoms does not negatively affect the quality or durability of the Gabbeh.
