Characteristics of Persian Hand-woven Gabbeh
Gabbeh are long-pile, hand-woven rugs made by the Qashqai nomads who roam the Zagros Mountains in Iran, using vegetable-dyed wool deeply rooted in their daily lives. The Persian Variant wool used in this product is known for its excellent durability for survival in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and its soft, pleasant texture rich in oil to regulate body temperature.
These Gabbeh, hand-dyed with natural dyes and meticulously hand-woven by Iranian nomads, are characterized by their fluffy and pleasant texture.
Well-woven Gabbeh are said to last for 100 years, boasting superior durability.

Daily Care
Remove dirt and dust by vacuuming or sweeping along the pile.
For stubborn stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, and gently wipe the surface with a well-wrung towel. Afterward, wipe thoroughly with a damp cloth to remove any detergent, then dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Important Notes
Due to being hand-woven, there may be irregularities in shape, pattern, weaving, and dyeing. Please consider these as part of the charm of hand-woven products.
Additionally, Gabbeh are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, a unique scent from the wool dye may be present.
This scent will gradually dissipate with use, but please be aware of it in advance.
Pompoms can be removed before shipping.
The pompoms attached to the corners and middle of the Gabbeh can be removed upon request before delivery.
Removing the pompoms will not negatively affect the quality or durability of the Gabbeh.
