Gabbeh are long-pile rugs woven by the Qashqai tribe, who nomadize in the Zagros Mountains of Iran, using plant-dyed wool deeply rooted in their daily lives. The "Persian Variant" wool used in this product possesses excellent durability for survival in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, as well as a soft and pleasant texture with a high oil content to regulate body temperature effectively. Daily Care
Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom, following the direction of the pile. If concerned about stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a towel or similar cloth, and gently wipe the surface. Then, wipe thoroughly with a damp cloth to remove detergent and dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
