Characteristics of Persian Hand-Woven Gabbeh

The Persian Variant wool used in this product has excellent durability to survive in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and its soft, pleasant texture, rich in natural oils, allows for effective temperature regulation.
Gabbeh, made from this wool dyed with natural dyes and meticulously hand-woven by Iranian nomads, are characterized by their fluffy and pleasant texture.
Well-woven Gabbeh are said to last 100 years, boasting exceptional durability.
Born from a climate with extreme temperature differences between day and night, Gabbeh are warm in winter and airy in summer, making them feel cool.
And above all, there is its artistic quality. Gabbeh created from the imagination of nomads often feature designs of animals and plants, with each one being a unique, original item.
They can, of course, be laid on the floor, but also hung on walls as art.

Notes
Due to its hand-woven nature, there may be irregularities in shape or pattern, uneven weaving, or uneven dyeing. Please consider these as part of the charm of a hand-woven item.
Additionally, Gabbeh are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, a unique odor from the dyes used on the wool may be present.
This odor will gradually dissipate with use, but please be aware of this beforehand.
