Daily Care

Remove dust and dirt by vacuuming or sweeping along the pile.
For stubborn stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water and gently wipe the surface with a well-wrung towel. Afterward, wipe thoroughly with a damp cloth to remove any detergent, then air dry in a well-ventilated shade.

Important Notes

Due to the hand-woven nature, there may be distortions in shape or pattern, weaving irregularities, or dyeing irregularities. Please understand that these are part of the charm of a hand-woven item.
Additionally, Gabbeh rugs are woven from sheep's wool. As a result, there may be a unique odor from the dyes used on the wool.
This scent will gradually dissipate with use, but please be aware of it beforehand.

Pom-poms can also be removed before shipping.

The pom-poms located at the corners and in the middle of the Gabbeh can be removed upon request before shipping.
Removing the pom-poms does not negatively affect the quality or durability of the Gabbeh.
