Gabbeh are long-piled rugs, hand-woven by the Qashqai nomads who inhabit the Zagros Mountains of Iran. They are made from plant-dyed wool and deeply rooted in their daily lives. Daily Care

Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom along the direction of the pile.
For stubborn stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a towel tightly, and gently wipe the surface. Then, wipe thoroughly with a damp cloth to remove the detergent, and dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
