Features of Persian Hand-woven Gabbeh Rugs
Gabbeh are long-pile rugs deeply rooted in daily life, hand-woven by the Qashqai tribe, nomadic people in Iran's Zagros Mountains, using vegetable-dyed wool. The Persian Variant wool used in this product has excellent durability to survive in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and its soft, pleasant texture contains a lot of oil to regulate body temperature effectively.
Gabbeh, woven by Iranian nomads using this naturally dyed wool, one strand at a time, are characterized by their soft and pleasant texture.

Daily Care
Remove dust and debris with a vacuum cleaner or broom, following the direction of the pile.
For stubborn stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a towel or similar cloth, and gently wipe the surface. Then, wipe thoroughly with water to remove detergent, and dry in a well-ventilated shade.
Please Note
Due to being hand-woven, there may be variations in shape and pattern, weaving irregularities, and dyeing inconsistencies. Please consider these as part of the charm of hand-weaving.
Also, Gabbeh are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, there may be a distinctive smell from the dyes used to color the wool.
This smell will gradually dissipate with use, but please be aware of this in advance.
Tassels can also be removed before shipping
The tassels located at the corners and in between the Gabbeh can be removed upon request before delivery.
Removing the tassels does not adversely affect the quality or durability of the Gabbeh.
