Characteristics of Persian Hand-woven Gabbeh
Gabbeh are long-piled, vegetable-dyed wool rugs hand-woven by the Qashqai tribe, who nomadize in Iran's Zagros Mountains, and are deeply rooted in their daily lives. The Persian Valiant wool used in this product has excellent durability to survive in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and contains a lot of oil to effectively regulate body temperature, resulting in a soft and pleasant texture.

Daily Care
Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom along the direction of the pile.
If concerned about stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, and gently wipe the surface with a tightly wrung towel or similar. Then, carefully wipe with a damp cloth to remove the detergent, and dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Important Notes
Due to being hand-woven, there may be variations in shape and pattern, weaving irregularities, and dyeing irregularities. Please understand that these are part of the charm of hand-weaving.
Also, Gabbeh are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, a unique odor from the dyes used on the wool may occur.
The odor will gradually dissipate with use, but please be aware of this in advance.
