Daily Care

Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom along the direction of the pile. For気になる汚れ：Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a cloth tightly, and gently wipe the surface. Then, thoroughly wipe with a damp cloth to remove any detergent residue, and let it dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.

Important Notes

Due to being hand-woven, there may be irregularities in shape and pattern, weaving inconsistencies, and color variations. Please understand that these are part of the charm of hand-weaving. Also, Gabbeh rugs are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, there may be a distinctive smell from the dyes used on the wool. The smell will gradually dissipate with use, but please be aware of this in advance.

Tassels can be removed before shipping

The tassels attached to the corners and middle of the Gabbeh can be removed upon request before delivery. Removing the tassels will not negatively affect the quality or durability of the Gabbeh.
