Gabbeh are long-piled rugs hand-woven by the Qashqai nomads of Iran's Zagros Mountains, using vegetable-dyed wool as a fundamental part of their daily lives. The Persian Valiant wool used in this product has excellent durability to survive the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and its soft, pleasant texture is rich in oil to effectively regulate body temperature.

Daily Care
Remove dirt and dust by vacuuming or sweeping along the nap of the rug.
If concerned about stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water and gently wipe the surface with a tightly wrung towel or similar. Then, thoroughly wipe with a damp cloth to remove any detergent, and let it dry in a well-ventilated shaded area.

Due to being hand-woven, there may be variations in shape and pattern, weaving irregularities, and dyeing inconsistencies. Please understand that these are part of the charm of hand-woven products.
Additionally, Gabbeh are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, a unique odor from the dyes used to color the wool may be present.
This odor will gradually dissipate with use, but please be aware of this in advance.
