Daily Care

Remove dust and dirt by vacuuming or sweeping along the pile direction.
For stubborn dirt: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a towel or cloth tightly, and gently wipe the surface. Then, wipe thoroughly with a damp cloth to remove any detergent residue, and let it dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.

Due to being hand-woven, there may be variations in shape, pattern, weaving irregularities, and dyeing inconsistencies. Please understand that these are part of the charm of hand-woven items.
Also, Gabbeh rugs are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, a unique smell from the wool dye may be present.
The smell will gradually dissipate with use, but please be aware of this beforehand.
