It will brighten up your entryway, a space you walk through every day.
Besides the entryway, its size makes it easy to place in empty spaces like by the bedside or in front of a single sofa.
It is soft, plush, and features a pleasant texture that can be enjoyed all year round.
As a unique hand-woven item, please enjoy its one-of-a-kind design.
This Gabbeh is woven with fine threads, making it a "Līzbāft" Gabbeh. It has a thinner pile and tighter weave than regular Gabbehs, due to the extra effort required for weaving.
Līz means "fine" and Bāft means "weave" in Persian.

Characteristics of Persian Hand-woven Gabbeh Rugs
Gabbeh rugs are long-pile carpets deeply rooted in the daily lives of the Qashqai nomads, who hand-weave them from vegetable-dyed wool in the Zagros Mountains of Iran. The Persian Variant wool used in this product possesses excellent durability for surviving the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and its soft, pleasant-to-the-touch texture with high oil content helps regulate body temperature.
These Gabbeh rugs, hand-dyed with natural dyes and meticulously hand-woven knot by knot by Iranian nomads, are characterized by their plush and comfortable feel.
Well-woven Gabbeh rugs are highly durable, said to last for 100 years.
Originating from a climate with significant temperature differences between day and night, Gabbeh rugs are warm in winter and breathable in summer, offering a cool sensation.
And above all, there is their artistry. Gabbeh rugs, created from the imagination of nomads, often feature designs of animals and plants, with each piece being a unique, one-of-a-kind original.
They can be laid on the floor or even hung on a wall as art.
Why not find your own special Gabbeh, a rug you can enjoy for a lifetime?
Daily Care
Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom, following the direction of the pile.
For stubborn stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, and gently wipe the surface with a tightly wrung-out towel. Afterward, carefully wipe with a damp cloth to remove the detergent, then dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Important Notes
Due to being hand-woven, there may be irregularities in shape and pattern, weaving inconsistencies, and dyeing variations. Please understand that these are part of the charm of a hand-woven product.
Additionally, Gabbeh rugs are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, a unique scent from the wool dyes may be present.
This scent will gradually dissipate with use, but we ask for your understanding in advance.
Pom-poms can be removed upon request

The pom-poms on the corners and sides of the Gabbeh can be removed before shipping if you request it.
Removing the pom-poms does not negatively affect the quality or durability of the Gabbeh.
If you would like your Gabbeh shipped without the pom-poms, please feel free to contact us via email or phone below.
