Characteristics of Persian Hand-Woven Gabbeh

Gabbeh rugs are hand-woven by the Qashqai nomads in Iran's Zagros Mountains, using vegetable-dyed wool with a long pile, deeply rooted in their daily lives. Daily Care

Remove dirt and dust by vacuuming or sweeping along the direction of the pile.
For stubborn stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, and gently wipe the surface with a tightly wrung out towel or similar. Afterwards, wipe thoroughly with water to remove any detergent, then dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
